Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned professional to build and manage the organization’s Infrastructure Cost Center, ensuring effective financial planning, procurement governance, vendor management and subscription lifecycle control.

This role will drive end-to-end ownership of AOP, budgeting, procurement, contract management and cost optimisation across business units, while partnering closely with IT, DevOps, Legal, Finance and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Infra Cost Center across business units and LOBs, ensuring clear cost visibility and control
  • Drive AOP planning, budgeting and monthly forecasting (CapEx & OpEx) in close collaboration with teams
  • Track budget vs actuals, proactively highlighting risks, variances and opportunities for optimization
  • Build and maintain effective cost models and infra cost accounting practices
  • Lead end-to-end procurement including sourcing, RFP/RFQ processes, negotiations and PO governance
  • Define and maintain procurement policies, approval workflows and governance controls
  • Continuously identify and drive cost optimization and strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Manage the complete vendor lifecycle—from onboarding and evaluation to performance tracking and renewals
  • Lead commercial negotiations to ensure the best pricing for the organisation
  • Own the contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewals and repository management in coordination with Legal and Finance team
  • Ensure legal, financial and compliance alignment across all contracts
  • Manage licenses/subscriptions/tools lifecycle including renewals, termination and BU allocation
  • Maintain centralised tracking of all software, tools and contracts
  • Partner closely with IT, Finance and business teams for budgeting, AOP planning and cost allocation
  • Provide multi-dimensional cost reporting (BU-wise, category-wise, LOB/cost center-wise)
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of IT infra, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and SaaS tools

Key Requirements:

  • 8–12+ years in procurement, IT cost management, or finance operations (1000+ employee org preferred)
  • Strong experience in AOP, budgeting, forecasting and cost center management (CapEx/OpEx)
  • Hands-on expertise in end-to-end procurement (RFP/RFQ, sourcing, negotiations, cost optimization)
  • Proven vendor management experience (onboarding, performance tracking, consolidation)
  • Experience handling contracts across their lifecycle (negotiation, renewals, compliance)
  • Exposure to SaaS/license/subscription management and cost allocation across BUs
  • Good understanding of IT infra, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and SaaS ecosystem
  • Strong financial analysis, budgeting models and spend reporting skills
  • Knowledge of procurement governance, audit and compliance (SOC2/ISO)
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and ability to present data-driven insights
  • Someone who takes ownership and can build or improve processes as the organization scales
