Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts in the fast-paced EdTech startup space. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the EdTech landscape, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving growth through innovative marketing strategies. This role will be critical in scaling the business, building the brand, and driving customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Marketing: Oversee paid marketing campaigns (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Meta Ads Expertise: Create and manage campaigns on Facebook, Instagram with a focus to drive conversions
  • Google Ads Expertise: Run search, display & YouTube to drive conversions.
  • Other Social Media Ads: Create and manage campaigns on LinkedIn, and TikTok with a focus on audience targeting, retargeting, and lookalike audiences.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with the company’s growth goals, focusing on both short-term wins and long-term brand building.
  • Brand Development: Lead initiatives to strengthen the company’s brand presence in the EdTech sector, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Demand Generation: Build and manage high-impact, multi-channel campaigns to drive qualified leads, conversions, and revenue growth.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team across multiple functions, including content, digital, product, and demand generation.
  • Content & Inbound Marketing: Lead the creation of engaging content strategies that resonate with the target audience and drive inbound leads.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify and foster strategic partnerships with educational institutions, influencers, and other stakeholders in the EdTech ecosystem.
  • Webinars & Event Marketing: Develop strategies for webinar-based lead generation, conferences, and other virtual or in-person events.
  • Data & Analytics: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes and provide insightful reports to senior leadership.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences to shape future marketing efforts.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a significant portion in the EdTech, SaaS, or startup space.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in leading a marketing team and working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of digital marketing, growth hacking, performance marketing, CRM, and marketing automation tools.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills, with experience in using data to drive decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and innovate in a competitive marketplace.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. An MBA is preferred.
