This is not a traditional job — you'll draw on your hands-on expertise in construction cost estimation, architectural plan review, and solar proposal development to produce expert-level data and analytical outputs that help build AI training environments for the energy industry.
This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside your current work.
What You'll Do
- Apply your professional expertise to independently produce real analytical work outputs — such as detailed cost estimates, architectural plan reviews, and solar installation proposals — in a structured, project-based format
- Use tools like Bluebeam Revu, RSMeans, and Aurora Solar to complete tasks the way you would in your day-to-day role
- Deliver expert-level work that forms the foundation of AI training datasets for energy industry applications
- Complete tasks at your own pace with no set schedule or minimum hour requirement
- 2+ years of professional experience in energy project estimation or solar design, in a role such as:
- Construction Cost Estimator
- Solar Project Estimator
- Solar Sales Engineer / Solar Designer
- Ability to independently produce work using:
- Bluebeam Revu
- RSMeans
- Aurora Solar
- Hands-on experience with workflows such as architectural and engineering plan review for cost estimation and solar installation proposal generation
- Bachelor's degree or higher required
- Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
