About MotimaticMotimatic delivers outcomes across the full customer journey, from initial awareness to retention, upsell, and churn recovery. Our platform blends behavioral science, paid media, and automated outreach to help organizations acquire, retain, and re-engage the people they serve. We’ve supported more than 300 partners, consistently driving measurable results without adding operational lift for our clients.
The RoleWe’re looking for a design-led product leader to build a simple, elegant experience for the platform our internal team and our clients use to plan budgets, run campaigns, and measure results.
Motimatic is an adtech platform at heart. Ad serving architecture similar to an ad server, a homegrown creative platform that lands somewhere between Canva and Bynder, and fully integrated workflows and reporting on top. The problems underneath are genuinely complex. The design needs to be elegantly simple.
You’ll set the roadmap and do the design work to make it real, partnering closely with the CEO, the VP of Operations, and Engineering. Our engineering team is small and good, which means something you sketch on Monday can be in front of users inside a month.
This role reports to the CEO.
What You’ll DoSet the direction- Start by interviewing the people who live in this platform: our operations team, engineering, and the exec team. Find the gaps in how we’re approaching the product today.
- Own the roadmap. Decide what gets built, in what order, and be ready to defend it.
- Solve for the immediate problems while holding a long-term northstar for where the product goes.
- Say no to work that doesn’t belong, including when leadership is attached to it.
- Own the user experience end to end: flows, structure, interaction, and how the pieces fit together.
- Do the design work. Wireframes, prototypes, and enough visual craft that engineering can build from it.
- Spend real time watching how people use the platform, and pay closest attention to the workarounds they’ve invented.
- Get from idea to prototype in days, using whatever tool is fastest.
- Test ideas and show them to the team before they cost engineering time.
- Work directly with engineers to break projects into pieces that ship, and keep a steady release cadence.
- Know within a few weeks whether a new feature worked.
- Work with the CEO and leadership on how the roadmap connects to revenue.
- Keep Sales, Client Success, Operations, and Engineering current on what’s coming and when.
- Raise problems early. Hit your dates.
- 6+ years in product, design, or some mix of the two, with software you can point to.
- A portfolio or case studies. We want to see how you think, not just where you’ve worked.
- You prototype. Figma, code, AI tools, paper, whatever gets something in front of a user fastest.
- Experience with complex, data-heavy products: dashboards, configuration, reporting.
- You’ve worked shoulder to shoulder with engineers on a small team and shipped at a good pace.
- Comfortable with deadlines, and comfortable at a company that hasn’t figured everything out yet.
- Adtech, marketing technology, or paid media experience is a real advantage here given what the platform does. Higher education is a plus.
$175,000 to $190,000 base, depending on experience.

- HSA, FSA, life insurance, and disability insurance
