About Motimatic

Motimatic delivers outcomes across the full customer journey—from initial awareness to retention, upsell, and churn recovery. Our platform blends behavioral science, paid media, and automated outreach. We’ve supported more than 300 partners, consistently driving measurable results without adding operational lift for our clients.

The Role

Motimatic is hiring a Senior Manager, Growth Marketing to own and build our marketing function. This is the most senior growth marketing hire. You will own demand generation, the website, email and nurture strategy & execution, sales enablement, SEO and distribution, and marketing operations. You will also manage our Content Marketing Specialist, setting content priorities against commercial strategy and funnel gaps.

This is a hands-on role that needs a gritty executor. You will build the campaigns, the journeys, the landing pages, and the dashboards yourself. There is no team beneath you beyond one content hire and no agency (outside of SEO and outsourced design).

Started in higher ed, Motimatic has since expanded in B2B SaaS, Consumer Subscriptions, K12, & beyond. Our largest customer base includes community colleges, regional public universities, and online institutions, with buying committees that include CMOs, provosts, and VPs of Enrollment. Our warm and referral-sourced deals close at roughly four times the rate of cold ones. Your central job is manufacturing warmth at a distance so our sellers walk into fewer cold rooms.

This role reports to James Dressing, CEO.

Key ResponsibilitiesOwn Demand Generation and Pipeline
  • Own campaign strategy end to end: audiences, offers, distribution, landing pages, conversion, and pipeline outcomes.
  • Set and defend a marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline number.
  • Build and run the ABM motion against our fit-scored target account list, sequenced with the sales team.
  • Report weekly against pipeline targets, and kill what does not work.
Own the Conversion Path
  • Own the website roadmap, messaging hierarchy, and technical execution.
  • Own landing pages, forms, CTAs, and conversion rate optimization, including a continuous testing program.
  • Own lead capture and routing, and hold speed-to-lead accountable from form fill to assigned rep.
Own Email and Nurture
  • Own segmentation, lifecycle journeys, automation, triggers, and testing.
  • Own deliverability, list hygiene, suppression, and sending infrastructure.
  • Own audience segmentation, distribution, and performance measurement for the newsletter, which the Content Marketing Specialist writes and produces.
Own Sales Enablement
  • Own the enablement roadmap: pitch deck, one-pagers, vertical materials, competitive content, and objection handling.
  • Work call recordings and loss reasons to find where deals stall, then build the material that unsticks them.
  • Make sure every seller can deliver the positioning consistently, and refresh it as the market moves.
Own SEO, Distribution, and Partnerships
  • Manage the SEO agency: briefs, priorities, KPIs, and accountability for results.
  • Own channel strategy across owned and partner distribution, including co-marketing execution with platform partners.
  • Own the tradeoff calls on where limited budget goes.
Own Marketing Ops and Analytics
  • Own CRM and marketing automation architecture, lifecycle stage definitions, and lead scoring.
  • Own tracking, attribution, dashboards, and reporting that the executive team and board can rely on.
  • Build the reporting that shows warm versus cold performance by source, so we can prove the motion is working.
Direct the Content Function
  • Set content priorities based on buyer needs, campaign requirements, positioning, and performance data.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Content Marketing Specialist.
  • Hold the quality bar on every asset that reaches a buyer.
Qualifications
  • Fully remote role, but must work EST hours
  • 4-6+ years in B2B growth marketing, demand generation, or marketing operations, with documented ownership of a pipeline number.
  • You have been the first or second marketer at a company. You have built a function rather than inherited one.
  • Hands-on command of marketing automation and CRM. Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a website: roadmap, CRO, forms, and technical execution. Comfortable working in a page builder without engineering support.
  • Track record on a considered B2B purchase with a multi-stakeholder buying committee and a sales cycle measured in months.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and holding vendors to outcomes.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a direct report preferred.
  • Higher education, edtech, or marketing services background preferred.
Benefits
  • Health care, vision, and dental coverage
  • HSA, FSA, life insurance, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Flexible PTO
  • 12-week family leave
  • Remote-friendly work environment
