Job Description:

As a Software Engineer at Pluralsight, you'll deliver core functionality that helps our analysts to deliver insights. You'll mentor other specialists in Engineering practices, design and build high quality systems and services and contribute to architectural and technology decisions that directly affect the experience of other engineers in the data & analytics teams.

Experience you’ll need:

• 6+ years of software development.

• Strong Experience with Data Modelling.

• Experience working in full-stack development using NodeJS or Python or Ruby along with AWS services.

• Experience with remote collection of data - Desired

• Exposure to good DevOps practices in AWS.

• A strong background in engineering practices, such as Agile, TDD, pair programming and CI/CD processes.

What you’ll own:

• Consistently write well tested, readable, secure, and accessible code.

• Design and build high quality distributed systems in cloud environments.

• Contribute to architectural and technology decisions for the team and guilds.

• Effectively use written, verbal and visual communication to facilitate technical discussion and share ideas

• Help to define and coach engineering best practices in the team, fostering a culture of quality, pair programming, clean coding and test driven development.

• Actively pair-program with team members.

• Develop and support build pipelines.

• Support your team’s systems in production, participating in an on-call rotation.
