In this role, you will primarily be assisting with inbound inquiries for schools and districts interested in purchasing VoyageMath, as well as executing on strategies for outbound sales tactics. In addition to owning and surpassing sales targets, you’ll be an instrumental part of the early stage VoyageMath team within Quizizz to help grow the next greatest supplemental math product. It is the first SDR role on the VoyageMath team, so if you’ve been looking for the opportunity to make your mark and show the impact you can have, this is it.
The work in this role will directly help improve education and better support organisation's that are engaging millions of students in class and at home.
What you will do
- Nurture new leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to take demo with a product expert
- Identify the needs of prospects, suggest appropriate product or services and ensure consistent achievement of qualified opportunity quota
- Continually optimise sales tactics and strategies to increase conversion rates and funnel effectiveness
- Diligently update our CRM tools to stay current on leads and follow-ups
- Conducting secondary research into school and district student math performance, competing products, student population sizes, etc., to personalise prospecting efforts
- Work closely with the VoyageMath business lead in the lifecycle of the lead, even after handover
- Remain a friendly and resourceful point of contact for customers who worked with you
Who you are
- We highly value your skills and work ethic over the number of years of experience. However, this role typically requires at least 3 years of sales experience
- Understanding of sales CRM tools
- Experience using sales analytics tool
- Good written and speaking skills
- Experience selling to the US market within B2B & SaaS industry
- Should be comfortable working US hours
- Ability to empathise with customers and their situations
- Math education passion a plus
