Job Description:

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Director of Partnerships to build and scale our strategic partnership ecosystem. This role will own the full partner lifecycle—from identifying and recruiting high-value partners to executing contracts, managing relationships, and driving revenue growth. You'll be responsible for managing and growing our partnership with OpenAI while building a pipeline of additional strategic partnerships that can each generate $400K+ annually.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape Section's partnership strategy at an inflection point as we scale our ProfAI platform and expand our reach through strategic partnerships with AI vendors and technology partners.

What you'll do:

  • Own partner relationships end-to-end - Manage and scale our partnerships including with OpenAI, including lead flow management, customer delivery coordination, conversion optimization, and relationship management with the OpenAI partnerships team.

  • Build and execute partnership pipeline - Identify, recruit, and close additional strategic partnerships across AI vendor partnerships and technology resellers. Qualify partners based on GTM alignment, revenue potential, and willingness to sell ProfAI without extensive customization. Manage full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution.

  • Design partner enablement infrastructure - Create standardized partner onboarding processes, sales playbooks, demo materials, and enablement content that accelerate time-to-revenue for new partnerships. Develop partner-specific positioning for ProfAI and workshop packages. Establish success metrics, reporting cadence, and performance tracking across all partnerships.

  • Drive partner revenue performance - Monitor and optimize partner performance against revenue targets, conversion rates, and strategic milestones. Conduct quarterly business reviews with partners. Identify expansion opportunities within existing partnerships and course-correct underperforming relationships.

Who you are:

Must-haves:

  • AI-first mindset: We are hiring AI-first candidates that have or will reinvent their role and tasks with AI for greater efficiency and quality.

  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances in B2B SaaS or enterprise software/services

  • Proven track record of establishing partnerships from scratch and scaling them to generate $500K+ in annual revenue

  • Experience selling both software and professional services through partner channels

  • Prior experience with AI vendor partnerships OR technology reseller partnerships

  • Strong executive relationship skills with ability to navigate complex organizations and build C-level relationships

  • Hands-on operator comfortable managing multiple workstreams from strategy through execution

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft compelling partner value propositions

BONUS:

  • Existing relationships within AI vendor ecosystem or enterprise technology resellers

  • Experience with product-led growth or platform partnerships in SaaS

  • Background in consulting, training, or upskilling industries

  • Track record of achieving 50%+ attach rates for complementary products through partner channels

    Salary: $150,000K - $180,000 base salary + performance bonus. This role also offers equity in addition to a base salary and bonus.
