About Stride
Stride Funding is a venture-backed, mission-driven start-up that is transforming access to higher education by offering an alternative to traditional loans. Stride believes in the power of education to create economic mobility and also believes that funding providers should not just provide students with capital but should also help students identify the highest value programs and optimal paths toward their career dreams. We seek to increase educational access by leveraging alternative data sets and innovative modeling techniques to offer students outcomes-driven funding products based on their future career trajectory rather than their historical family credit profiles. You can play a role in creating meaningful change every day by doing work you truly love! We’re looking for a talented, self-driven team member who is looking to contribute to Stride’s growth and connectivity.
About the Role

The ideal candidate has both analytics and programming experience (SQL and Python) and is passionate about both high-performance data pipelines as well as the business side of FinTech. We operate a modern and scalable data pipeline using Airflow, DBT and Kubernetes and this candidate will help us improve the capabilities, reliability and efficiency of our system as we scale the business an order of magnitude in 2023 and beyond.
At Stride we run a DevOps culture where the engineers have full ownership of the code they write & the infrastructure on which it runs. Candidates should be enthused about making substantial contributions to the architecture driving the product roadmap and the Stride business, and achieving tremendous personal growth with us along the way!
