Requirements
The Academic division at Valenture Institute includes the Faculty department, which is at the forefront of working with students. Faculty members are responsible for teaching students and inspiring curiosity about the world. The Faculty team is divided into two verticals: UCT OHS CAPS and Cambridge International.
Additionally, the Academic division includes the Learning Design and Learning Technology departments, which are responsible for creating and presenting engaging content to students.
The Faculty department at Valenture Institute is vital for direct student interaction, responsible for teaching, academic excellence, and nurturing curiosity. It includes the Executive Head of School, Chief Academic Officer, Faculty Managers and Subject Specialists. Subject Specialists ensure consistency in subjects, work with the development team, set assessments, and collaborate on session preparation. The Faculty Manager oversees processes, manages the team, and monitors deliverables.
The Learning Design team focuses on the institute's pedagogical approach, innovation, and design thinking. They collaborate with Operations for curriculum planning and resource needs. Learning Technology builds and configures modules on Learning Management Systems, optimizes user experiences, and applies technology for pedagogical challenges, ensuring best practices for accessibility and data protection.
