We are seeking a technically proficient Data Analyst to join our Product Operations team. In this role, you will build data frameworks and systems to optimize product performance, improve user experience, and support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and business teams to assess the impact of products and services, identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, and transform ROI storytelling for the organization.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to track feature adoption, identify pain points, and measure the success of new product launches.
  • Partnering with Customer Success and Sales teams to analyze customer feedback and identify trends that impact user engagement and retention.
  • Automating data extraction and transformation processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Managing and optimizing data pipelines between different sources, ensuring seamless data flow and integration across platforms.
  • Working on backend data processes to improve data accessibility and usability for cross-functional teams.
  • Ensuring data quality and governance by implementing best practices in data management.
  • Analyzing and interpreting product usage data to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor product performance and key business metrics.
  • Working with large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across multiple sources.
  • Building data models and queries to support ad hoc and recurring analyses.

What are we looking for?

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  • Programming: Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analysis is a plus.
  • Data Management: Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Data Pipelines: Experience working with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Analytics & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a data analytics or product analytics role, preferably in a SaaS or B2B technology company.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline).

What else would be nice to have?

  • Experience with tools in our data stack: Tableau, Amazon Redshift, Pendo, Salesforce, Marketo.
  • Experience working with API integrations and backend data processes.
  • Background in EdTech or experience demonstrating efficacy of educational products.
